BRIEF CAREER PROFLE SUMMARY
Therese finished her college in Siena College Quezon City. She loves to watch and read books that contains anything related to history and her free time is for her family. Therese has been in Business Processing Outsourcing industry for not more than 3 years and decided to step in to become a freelancer. Right now, she has a less than a year experience. She chose this career for she wants to have a work life balance and since it’s still pandemic she wants to protect her two kids from getting the virus just by simply working from home.
Therese decided to apply here in Virtual coworker because she wants to explore and gain more experiences as a Virtual Assistant. She believes that experiences are the best teacher in life and career. She has been a customer service representative in her past jobs and that’s the reason why she applied for the position. Tasks she did for the job are appointment setting, did day and weekly reports, inbound and outbound calls, answering concerns through emails and so on. Since she has an experience as a freelancer, she establishes a good relationship and communication to her client by setting a 15-minute meeting in start and at the end of the week. This meeting is a quick talk, about what to expect this week what should have done by the end of the week and on the other hand what are the accomplishments for the week feedbacks or any other concerns that is in need of discussion. In this way both the client and virtual assistant can have at least short time of communication and updates about what’s going on in a weekly basis. Every virtual assistant should be a good listener, pro-active, organize, enthusiastic and patient. Therese, may not have all of those characteristics mentioned but she can be the best fit for the job because she is dedicated, hard working and with the experiences she has she can fulfill the task given to her.
Right now, Therese is still with a two-hour shift with a client. She is willing to let go of this client and to start as soon as possible.
