I have 2 years experience working in the BPO industry.
First, working as an email support representative taught me invaluable skills that have shaped my professional life. Effective communication, both verbal and written, became second nature to me as I interacted with customers from different cultural backgrounds on a daily basis. I learned to adapt quickly to changing situations and to think outside the box, resolving complex issues with grace and efficiency. For example, as an email support representative, I was fond of answering complex customer issues skipped by other colleagues. Being detail oriented and resourceful, I won’t stop searching for answers and triple-checking it with my team leader until I arrive at the correct response.
Second, as a Quality Analyst, my primary responsibility is to evaluate and monitor the performance of our customer service representatives to ensure adherence to prescribed quality parameters. Through my work, I have developed a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of the metrics and benchmarks that define success in the BPO industry.
My previous job also involved quality audit and assessments by reviewing customer interactions. By providing constructive feedback and coaching to the customer service representatives, I help them enhance their skills and deliver exceptional service consistently. For example, one team I handled achieved the highest customer satisfaction rating because of the quality of their responses.
