Being an Import Assistant for more than 7 years, handling shipments from UK and Italy coming to Manila, taught me skills that are applicable and helpful even in other types of jobs. Skills such as being good in both verbal and written communication, be very detail-oriented, ability to work well independently or even as a team player, having outstanding organizational and time management, being adaptive and flexible if necessary, having self-initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and willingness to learn, among others. And I can say that with these combination of skills, knowledge and experience, I can be productive and efficient enough for my future employer.
