Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and results-driven Virtual Business Development Associate to join our team. As a remote member of our sales force, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business and driving revenue growth. Your primary responsibility will be to identify new business opportunities, cultivate relationships, and help us achieve our sales targets. You will be calling school administrators who are responsible for after school enrichment programs and letting them know about our varied offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation: Proactively identify potential clients and target markets through research, cold calling, and networking.
Client Engagement: Initiate and maintain contact with prospective clients to understand their needs, present our offerings, and build strong relationships.
Sales Pipeline Management: Effectively manage and nurture leads through the sales pipeline, from initial contact to closing deals.
Client Presentation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that demonstrate the value of our products/services to clients.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.
Goal Achievement: Work towards and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure a seamless client experience.
CRM Management: Accurately record and manage client interactions and data in the company’s CRM system.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
Proven track record in sales or business development, with at least 2 years of experience.
Experience working with k-12 schools in the US highly recommended, although not essential.
Exceptional communication skills with fluent English, both written and verbal.
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Tech-savvy and proficient in using CRM software and sales tools.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing business environment.
A good understanding of US education is a plus.
